{Sponsor Spotlight} The Dairy Fairy in the Mother Knows Breast Giveaway

May 7, 2013

Another fantastic sponsor in the Mother Knows Breast Giveaway is The Dairy Fairy!

The Dairy Fairy is an all-in-one nursing bra that allows you to adjust the sizing based on your needs and hands-free pump. It’s a nursing bra. It’s a pumping bra. It’s adjustable. It’s pretty! It’s the Dairy Fairy!

There are so many awesome features of this bra that I decided to make a little video explaining how it works ad what I experienced:

The Dairy Fairy Arden Bra is very pretty. I love the lacy detail. Most nursing bras are all function, no fancy. They are starting to come around though.

When I had the Teen, my mom bought me a nursing bra that had adjustable cups. By the time I got to having another baby I could not find another nursing bra that did that. I still don’t understand why they would stop. It completely made sense that our breast change sizes throughout the day so let make the cups work with that. When I read that The Dairy Fairy had adjustable cups it was like angels started singing!!

My other favorite thing is that you use it for hands-free pumping the same way you use it for nursing! Well, kinda. There is a second panel that has slits for the flanges of your pump! You don’t have to put anything else on or remove any clothes. You just wear the bra and nurse as needed and pump as needed! This also allows you to pump one breast while simultaneously nursing on the other! Such a time saver!

I love the adjustable cup options b/c sometimes the regular nursing bras just dont fit right after your supply gets stabilized.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the idea of this bra! I’m constantly switching between nursing and pumping, so I’ve never bothered with a pumping bra because I figured it would be too annoying. But trying to hold the shields in place is no picnic either! Plus, I would appreciate having something cute to wear…my husband isn’t exactly loving my rotation of white, gray, and black nursing tanks!

This would be a cool bra to have while breastfeeding and pumping. I hate having to almost take my bra off to pump and then sit there and just hold the bottles while pumping.

I came across your blog while looking for Spectra breast pump reviews. You have an informative blog and videos. Glad to find breastfeeding support and information regarding various products. The giveway is really nice for any new breastfeeding mom like me 🙂

just a quick question apart from the review .. is that a nursing necklace ? do they keep the young one’s occupied.. mine has started pulling my hair or shirt …

    • May 13, 2013 1:20 pm

Yes it is from I have several items from her shop. Some won from her FB page. They keep baby from getting distracted and popping off (unlatching). They also keep them from pulling hair, scratching boobs etc.
Side note: I use the Spectra 9! It doesn’t need batteries or a plug, I just charge it at home and good to go. I pump in my car so it helps not needing a plug 🙂

This is an interesting concept but I don’t see it working for women with large breasts. I am a DDD and would love to try the XL to see if it would work out.

    • November 17, 2013 9:27 am

I am also a large breasted mother and would love to know if this bra worked for you. Most of the reviews I’ve read have been from B and C cupped moms. This bra sounds great in theory but, much like you, I am skeptical about the support it can offer someone who is a DD/DDD/E cup.

I completely agree about the wide elastic!! and would love to not have to change my bras at work when I pump…time is so limited, that little but of time changing can make a big difference 🙂

This bra looks amazing! Would love to try it with my son when he arrives in July! It was so hard to find a good nursing bra when I had my daughter.
